Chalfont Web Design has been using Sellerdeck (formerly known as Actinic) as it’s e-commerce product of choice in since Version 2 in the late 90’s! Sellerdeck is a fully featured desktop application that provides our customers with complete control of their e-commerce web site once it has been built. Once a low cost simple way to start selling on-line, this is now becoming more of a mid-range application with a price of around £1000 for new customers.
SellerDeck is as an out of the box, locally / offline developed ecommerce solution for small businesses. It is still being developed and is a tremendously powerful solution that can be used to great affect and create a professional means of selling on-line. We have stopped developing / recommending it purely down to the fact they moved the pricing away from entry level clients and the opportunities for resellers.
If you are currently using SellerDeck, the current management team are very friendly and can offer a great upgrade path for your site. The offline, non database driven structure means your site will be quicker to load (great for SEO) and less vulnerable to being hacked.

SellerDeck became known as Actinic in around 2012. The Actinic name is now used by a separate on-line / cloud version. SellerDeck also has an on-line / cloud version based on Magento Community.
Cater For You still uses SellerDeck for their ecommerce system and easily sustains a multi million pound business with a lot of bespoke additions. The ongoing development of the platform with SellerDeck has meant Cater For You still has an up to date web site and the team are very flexible with regards implementing solutions.
